EQUALITY PLAN MANIFESTO

Our Gender Equality Plan seeks to provide a framework of policies and practices where employees, no matter their gender, age or position can develop themselves and achieve personal success by contributing to our goal, which is to expand TiTech anti-fouling system to all industries affected by biofouling, so we can reduce all the environmental damage from using conventional anti-fouling solutions, globally. We seek to be agile in structure, where the creation of partnerships, information and knowledge will lead to rewarded initiatives by our employees, and to work in commitment with blue science applied.

Conscious that gender issues are a concern in the work environment, Titanium Technology will promote a fair distribution between the two genders, following the EU Gender Action Plan 2016-2020. We are committed to make every effort to a) encourage women’s participation in research and management activity at all levels, b) promote the involvement of women as well as men in conferences, workshops and other international scientific events related to the project, and c)encourage and support the application of women.

With special attention towards a balanced task distribution for the women and men involved by providing working conditions which allow both, to combine work, family, children and career.
