CLEAN TECHNOLOGY AGAINST BIOFOULING
Our patented technology makes possible the maintenance of structures free of biological fouling growth over time without the need to use any periodic maintenance solution. Biofouling is no longer a problem or a maintenance cost. With TiTech, being a nature-based solution (NbS), we minimize the ecological footprint of structures caused by the use of biocides, chemical dosing, paints, ultrasonic waves, or any other anti-fouling toxics to the environment. We gain durability over time the sustainable way.

TITECH is a transversal technology potentially applicable in all industries affected by biological fouling growth, in particular to the maritime, heat exchange industries and currently, we are conducting studies for its application in other sectors with great potential such as in irrigation. Our patented technology is accessible through an advanced system of licences across sectors.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
Titanium Technology uses electrochemistry on titanium surfaces to prevent biological growth.
TiTech takes advantage of this metal to optimize its properties with electrochemistry by adding a new antifouling property – that doesnt have any polluting impact on the environment- and therefore, with Titanium Technology we increase the applicability of titanium components, by reducing the cost of maintenance operations, by improving mechanical behaviour, by avoiding the decrease in performance of components due to biological fouling growth, by mitigating corrosion, by reducing negative environmental impact caused from the use of conventional antifouling products.
TITECH makes it possible to maintain structures free of biological fouling over time without polluting the environment. By making titanium surfaces work under TiTech’s conditions, the results obtained are surprising and are maintained throughout the different seasons of the year regardless of the biological activity, we gain in durability.
